Americans have a unique fondness of Luxury Car Sales. When most teenagers turn 16, for example, parents usually get a car for their kids as a first taste of what it’s like to be an adult, having both the privilege and responsibility of driving. This practical mindset of owning a car makes the nation one of the foremost markets for car sales, whether local or imported.

In fact, Christoph Rauwald recently reported for Bloomberg that a surge in luxury car sales has been noted, especially for the European brand BMW:

Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, the world’s largest maker of luxury cars, reported a 17 percent surge in March sales at the namesake brand, helping cement its hold on the top spot in the premium autos segment.

Last month’s gain pushed first-quarter deliveries up 12 percent to 428,259 vehicles, the Munich-based automaker said in a statement today. BMW outsold second-ranked Audi AG by 15,409 vehicles in the first three months.

BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz all posted their highest monthly sales ever in March on surging demand in China and the U.S., the world’s two largest auto markets. The competition between the three is heating up after Audi briefly passed the BMW brand in sales at the beginning of this year, and Mercedes’ new compacts have helped the automaker make gains. All three are targeting record deliveries in 2014.

The continuous stellar sales performance of luxury cars are clear signs that Americans are, slowly but surely, regaining their confidence in the economy now, enough to afford purchases like this. Apart from that, however, the growing number of BMWs, Audis, and Mecedes on the road also means that drivers have to be prepared for its maintenance, regardless of brand.

To avoid hassle, European – and general – car owners must get in touch with a reliable car maintenance shop, one that, if possible, also provides BMW repair services and maintenance. When it comes to these European luxury cars, after all, it’s not just a car, but also an investment.

Indeed, owning a car is a big deal and an even bigger one if it happens to be a luxury type. Those looking for reliable service centers in Florida can approach facilities like Auto Works of Brandon for BMW repair in Tampa.
